Private Tour of "Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne and Beyond: Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from
the Musée d'Orsay"

I am very excited to offer a private tour of the blockbuster show "Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne and Beyond: Post-Impressionist Masterpieces from the Musée dOrsay," at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. Our group will have the gallery to ourselves before the de Young opens to the public, and I will be leading the tour of this spectacular exhibition which includes works by the four great post-Impressionists, van Gogh, Seurat, Cézanne, and Gauguin, as well as works by the Nabis, Toulouse-Lautrec, and others. The attendance for these Orsay exhibitions at the de Young has been monumental, so we are really lucky to have a private experience in the gallery unobstructed by the massive crowds.
Our group will meet at 8:15AM at the de Young on Sunday, December 12, for a tour at 8:30. It is very important to be on time. Because our tour is before general public hours, we will enter the galleries as a group and be escorted by museum guards. We will tour the exhibition for about an hour and a half. Afterwards well enjoy a lovely private brunch at the de Young Café, and then our group will be free to roam the rest of the museum that morning, and we can visit the fantastic collection of American art.
